Special Robot Place

According to Henner, there's no robots allowed in Heaven. So there is a "Special Robot Place."

He has drawn this picture of what this "Special Robot Place" looks like.

This is a more elaborate depiction of Special Robot Place. Robot is holding a "spray," the T's are flowers, and the marks on the upper right hand side are the "waters that make the plants grow up"

Henry is evidently having a growth spurt. He is always starving. He keeps coming up to me with lines like this (whispering) "Mom, I have a great idea. My idea is to ask you for food." or "I have a great idea. My idea is to ask for macaroni and cheese"

to which I replied: "Maybe for supper we can have macaroni and cheese."

Henry's next great idea: "Mom, I have a great idea, my idea is to ask if it can be supper time right now..."

I am currently considering indulging him even though it's 3:00 in the afternoon.

Classy

I wasn't there, but this is precious. Thanks, Sarah, for the updates into dad's daily idiosyncrasies and helping me to remember the hilarity.

It (evidently) went something like this:

Dad: "What do you think of my new light fixture?"

Sarah: "Interesting."

Dad: "Not interesting. Classy"

to which I commented, "classy... if you dig hanging out in Ten Forward."

Admit it looks like it belongs. Admit it.

saying lies

I tried explaining to Austen this morning that when daddy says it might snow and then it doesn't that daddy isn't "saying lies," and that when the meteorologists are wrong, it's not because they are lying but because only God knows what weather he will make. No good, he still thinks we're all lying. Evidently he thinks it's a worldwide conspiracy against him!
