November

Peter turned 1!

Peter got his (much needed) first haircut:

Austen took a volleyball clinic. He loved it:

Henner took a basketball clinic. He did not love it. Getting him to go on a Saturday morning usually required some type of bribery. His first class was spent almost entirely laying on the gym floor watching "ladybugs play basketball" and dribbling is, well, challenging for him. By the end of the clinic he no longer required bribery and had become excellent at passing. Good job, Henry!

We went to a dairy for a Fabulous Home School Field Trip. It smelled pretty bad. The children all appeared to have a good time. Cheese is good.

Austen turned 6:

Aaron got a toddler bed:

I baked a cake. ''What's new?" you may ask. This one, in my not-so-humble opinion turned out fabulously. It is probably my most professional looking work to date. I am thankful to Rebekah G. for "encouraging" me to get into cake decorating and mostly to the Lord for all the gifts he has given me!

A flashback:

(Peter and Elijah Gritton-Peter is on the left in both pictures. These were both taken at Thanksgiving--so much to be thankful for!)

Aaron and Henry transform!

Aaron transforms into a beetle. Henner transforms into a mousetrap. It's kind of the best ever.

October

October... hmmmm. I do remember some significant things that happened. Let's see...
oh yeah:

That was neat!
We'll see how it pans out...

Also, Grandma, Aunt Christina, and Cousin Taryn came to visit us.
Taryn baked a pie. That was neat.

Don't know why but I have very few pictures of their visit. Here are some of the highlights:

Like I said, not many pictures. Actually, that's all of them.

Couple more things:
1. We got new carpet installed (Thank you, grandma!) for our "imminent" move.
2. I turned 31, which I don't want to talk about.
3. Peter learned how to crawl for real, not his "revised commando crawl"
4. My children continued to grow and amaze me. I am overwhelmed by my blessings:
